I dont know if it put it in any kind of limp mode but it seemed fine. It would rev and go in gear but I wasnt able to take it for a test ride. I looped the can bus on the plug with the ebcm still disconnected and it started right up. When I disconnected the electronic brake control module it would not try to start.
